In addition to being a beautiful garden wedding and reception
setting for San Luis Obispo County locals, the Kaleidoscope
Inn & Gardens is a great location for a Destination Wedding.
Located in the California Central Coast, we are midway between
San Francisco and LA, and only 2 hours west of the Fresno/Bakersfield
areas!
A recent Jeopardy episode revealed what all Nipomoites already
know....the question was 'What town boasts the best weather
in the US?' and the answer was "Nipomo, CA". Just
the right weather for a garden wedding through the month of

The Kaleidoscope Inn and Gardens was renovated to recreate
the elegance and charm of the Victorian era. The acre of lush,
flower-filled gardens provides a unique, gracious, unforgettably
elegant setting that you and your guests will remember forever!
Garden Weddings &
Receptions. Our site can easily accommodate up to
300 guests. Our weather is perfect for Spring, Summer and Fall
garden weddings. We do not recommend Winter weddings (i.e.,
Jan, Feb, March), but will schedule a winter wedding if that
is your chosen timeframe. To ensure that your wedding receives
all of the special attention that it merits, we hold only one
wedding per day.

Full
Ceremony & Reception Package
A total of 9 hours use of the site: one hour rehearsal one
or two days before the event, two hours preparation/decorating
prior to the event, five hours for your wedding & reception,
and one hour clean up time. Included are use of the Bride's
Dressing Room; use of the gardens, patios, and porches; buffet,
cake, gift, and guest book tables. Dining tables, chairs, linen
tablecloths and napkins are provided. Coordination of the rehearsal
and ceremony are included. We would be happy to provide referrals
for caterers, photographers, bands, DJs, etc. Call

Standard package pricing depends on the number at
your wedding, but here are some price ranges. $2500 for up to
62 people, $2800 for up to 100 people, $3200 for up to 150 people,
$3600 for up to 200 people, $4200 for up to 250 people and $4800
for up to 300 people.

Premium Ceremony & Reception Packages
These 2 packages both include
sumptuous food and drink service, fabulous floral decor for
your bouquets & banquet tables, music and master of ceremony service via
high quality professional DJ and the ultimate wedding centerpiece
- your beautiful wedding cake! The Gold Package includes it all at a luxury level. The more economical Convenience Package also provides it all, but with some less expensive variations.
Ceremony Only Package
If you would like to have a ceremony only, we can accomodate
you. Pricing is $10 per person with a $1250 minimum.
Mid-Week Wedding
or Elopement Packages
(Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday)
If you want to have a fabulous wedding but without
the months of planning, large party, and higher cost of the large
ceremony and full reception, the Kaleidoscope has some EASY
& Cost Effective options available for you. Whether
you are local and on a budget or are coming to the beautiful Central
Coast for a destination wedding or elopement, we have a number
of mid-week packages from which you can choose!

Bronze Package
- Includes 1.5 hours use of site: 1/2 hour preparation, 1/2
hour ceremony, and 1/2 hour wrap up. Also includes your California
marriage license, minister and ceremony music. Bride
& Groom only for $850. Couple + up to 8 guests for $950.
Couple + up to 18 guests for $1100.

Silver Package
- Includes 2.5 hours use of site: 1/2 hour preparation, 1/2
hour ceremony, 1 hour cake and punch reception, 1/2 hour wrap
up. Includes all elements of Bronze Package + reception
music, dancing, small cake & punch. Bride & Groom
only for $1250. Couple + up to 8 guests for $1350. Couple
+ up to 18 guests for $1500.

Gold Package -
Includes 2.5 hours use of site: 1/2 hour preparation, 1/2
hour ceremony, 1 hour cake and punch reception, 1/2 hour wrap
up. Includes all elements of Silver Package + 2 nights
lodging for the Bride and Groom in our Honeymoon Suite
(i.e., the Carriage House). Bride & Groom only for $1550.
Couple + up to 8 guests for $1650. Couple + up to 18 guests
for $1800.
Reservations. When you are ready
to reserve a date for your wedding, a $500 retainer holds
your date for you. Call or e-mail
us to schedule an appointment to see the gardens, to reserve
your wedding date, or for more information.
